Looking For Neurologist That Specializes In Sleep Disorders.
I live in Pembroke Pines, Florida and am looking for a new MD to treat my Narcolepsy. There are lots of them but very few treat sleep disorders. Unfortunately Ritalin and Adderall are not options for me because I have some heart Issues. I tried low doses of both and had to stop because of it.

Many of us with narcolepsy do not just deal with this as our disease manifestation of it and additions as we know include ADHD anxiety, depression, and for me some of those but also severe chronic fatigue. My current facility is Raleigh Neurolgy in Cary. I'd been seeing Dr. Perkins since diagnosed in 2008. He left the facility in Apr. 2024. They reassigned me to another physician, however my May appointment was canceled. Rescheduled to July. Canceled. Rescheduled to Oct. Canceled. Reschedule date is now Apr. 2025. At this point it's been a full year since I have been seen, and I'm SOOOOOOOOO over this madness. Referrals are appreciated.
