Does anyone know of a good sleep medicine doctor near Baltimore. I have a great doctor, but it’s an 80 min drive from me. Baltimore would be so much closer.

Preferably a doctor in Lake County Illinois. My former doctor retired, and was not a part of a group.

I’ve been on Xywav for a couple of months and don’t notice much of a difference, if any. I will admit, I do not wake up every night for my second dose. I set alarms. I just never actually wake up. I want to see if I can try the new sodium oxybate, Lumryz. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences like this?

I would be interested in hearing how you manage medications and general lifestyle issues for these two conditions.

I probably can’t explain this well bec it’s my niece, 11yo. They’ve been trying cpap but finding it difficult because she will fight them at periods in the night. I’m thinking it may be when she is at a particular sleep stage or transition. Anyone experience this as a kid or with their own kids?

it has some influence in everybody you only have to go to a rough sea or waterfall to feel it so why can it over ride the sleep urge of epileptics which has an entirely different orign

I'm always embarrassed at the school when something gets emotional with my son who is godson behavioral and emotional issues himself and I have a cataplexy attack it's very hard to explain to them what's going on and not to worry cause they do anyway
