Virtual Neurologist Doctor Recommendations?

A MyNarcolepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I feel very limited with the doctors that are "in network" and within driving distance. Does anyone have any recommendations on a good neurologist that specializes in narcolepsy that does virtual appointments?

I was told that you have to go to California or New York. There is no one near me that is a good doctor. I was diagnosed by a neurologist in NC in 1983 and since then I have just kept renewing my prescriptions by my family doctor. I take Ritalin and Nuvigil. My father had it, and three of my sisters also had it. Both of my children have it. I wish more Neurologists were available to treat it. Sleep doctors don’t know how to treat it. They really want you to have sleep apnea because they know how to treat that.
