How Do You Ensure You Get Your Medicine On Time Each Month? (CVS Caremark)
Three months in a row I have struggled to get my Nuvigil 200mg (60 count) rx. CVS always has it on backorder, and now my new pharmacy took 5 days to get my meds. I work full time, so I make a lot of mistakes when I am unmedicated.
Anyone with CVS caremark? What is a less stressful way to get your meds on time?
Idk if it's my state... PA only allows 2 days before the rx is out, and no auto refills. I can't keep going through this, and I know I'm not alone. :(
Almost every time I request a refill, no matter what my Doctor prescribes, I seem to have problems!! That in itself is exhausting!
Hi Vivica
I used to get my Nuvigl from another national chain and gave up trying to get them to consistently provide medications on time. I switched to a local pharmacy and worked with them to provide my meds. After 10 years, NY finally will allow my Dr. to write a 90 day script which helps. I feel your pain; trying to focus on keeping a positive attitude but every 30 days you feel like a junkie begging for meds. It is infuriating! Take care!
With the generic Adderall shortage, I called my insurance company (CVS caremark) and explained that I needed them to approve the name brand Adderall because NOWHERE has the generic and if I don't take my medication, I will fall asleep driving and I'm just trying not to wreck/ kill myself or others on the road. The first lady I spoke to was no help, so I hung up and waited two minutes (so she would likely be on another call) and called again. The second lady spent almost an hour trying to explain it in different ways to her bosses (I guess it was her bosses) what the issue is so she could get approval to do namebrand and they FINALLY understood and approved it
My doctor called in my scripts Modafinil & 2 dosesages of Ritalin on Friday and I was told that they are on back order! REALLY!??! I seriously cannot remember when the last time my meds were prescribed correctly & able to be picked up on time! This situation is REDICULUS!
They do not refill, has to be a new RX, as I understand it.
