I Am Taking 400mg Modafinil For Uncontrollable Daytime Sleeping And 80mg Fluoxetine For Cataplexy Total Collapse, Both Are No Longerworking.

I can take a full dose of Modafinil and, if I allow myself, go straight to sleep in seconds.
I am taking a full dose of Fuoxetine and experiencing total loss of muscle control and collapse. It worked like magic at first but now I am back to where I started.
Please, is there anything else I can try?

What is a full dose of Provigil? I thought you could take at least 500mg a day but that depends if your doctor signs that off. I change my dosage depending on what I am doing. If I can, then I will have days I don't take any, just to try and give my body a break. (I believe long term use is not good for the heart) I also have experimented taking at various times of the day and in relation to food consumption, as like you I have felt the impact slow down over the years. I also take supplements, foods etc to help give me energy throughout the day. Can't believe how many drugs are available in the US🙂

I maxed out on provigil so I switched to adderall. But now I'm feeling maxed out on that too.

I have the same problem with Modafinil. You could try Sunosi. It didn't work for me, but maybe it could help you.
