I finally got approved from NORD to pay for Wakix ! I'm starting my 4th week now
so I hope to see an improvement soon. NORD is National Organization of Rare Diseases. I filled out their application and was accepted. The acceptance is not based on low income but on your need for the drug.
I am not dropping things as often , I think. I seem to sleep better at night being able to sleep up to two hours straight which is an improvement. If I add my nap times I get about 3 hours sleep per night. I also nap during the day. I am told that
Wakix takes up to 8 weeks to fully work for you. Still waiting for some normality in my life.
Yes, I did George. My price for 30 days w/o insurance was 2,043.00 for 30 day’s supply. I just got a letter from my insurance company saying that the approved it. BUT, I still don’t know what my copay is. I reorder it tomorrow so I should find out soon. They can tell you til after you order it and it’s ready for delivery—-Like , oh by the way your copay is 2,000.00 is that cash or credit.
Ahhh just wait I’m trying to get a second mortgage on my house so I can take it for a year….,
