It’s interesting what you find in some medication. I’ve seen another medication the was high in sodium. I can’t think of the name. I just seem to get over stimulated by the Adderal then end up more tired but can’t sleep

Well, I gave it a try, but it was an absolute nightmare for me. It did not keep me asleep at all. I was awake every night within two hours life I always am, except I woke up feeling drugged. My husband had to pick me up off the floor in the middle of the night. It actually started affecting his quality of sleep because he would wake up when I would get up and wait to see what was going to happen. The last time that I took it, I ended up on my bathroom floor and I couldn’t feel my hands or my feet. My husband got me to the bed, and he said my whole body was ice cold. All I wanted to do was go to sleep, but my body wouldn’t let me. We both agreed that night that I would not take it anymore. The other thing that really bothered me about it was the amount of sodium. Heart issues Run rampant in my family, and consuming that much sodium in just my medication was concerning. And tbh, I feel like it pretty much consumed my life. I had to think about when I was going to be able to have dinner in comparison to when I could take the medication. The not eating for two hours prior was difficult. Watching my sodium in everything I ate was a pain. It was just all very overwhelming.
I have now officially been on every medication available for narcolepsy, and the only thing that has worked for me is Adderall.

I am on it and it has been life- changing… I have had narcolepsy without cataplexy all of my life! Stimulants made my blood pressure too high. New Dr got me on Lumryz. I am on the 7.5 and will soon start the 9mg. After years and years of only getting maybe 30 to 45 minutes of deep sleep, I now average close to 5 hours. Best sleep ever!! No hangover feel the next day and finally feel rested.

Yes. I am on it. It's very strong but really helps me get deep sleep at night. Not a cure but really really helped my quality of life. I have not had side effects.
