They don’t see it as a disability, but it is covered over ADA. Most states require some form of disclosure when applying or renewal of drivers license. None of it makes sense within their process of applying and accommodating this chronic, non-curable, lifelong neurological condition that is so beyond disabling… how do people survive for 12 months to show they can’t maintain a job due to uncontrollable illness? I mean, I can’t. I have no one. So I’m so afraid I’ll loose my DL, not be kept at a job, etc… because symptoms look a lot of different ways and nobody wants to accommodate or pay for it… sure laws. Blah, Blah, Blah. Never seen the law do one thing they were created to do.

The judge that I had actually had "The Inspire implant she has cured her narcolepsy." HOW can she have used that!! And that's just one of the multiple incorrect things listed. It's not even possible to cure narcolepsy. If there were I would be banging down doors to get to it. At least someone has some sense to approve the appeal I had for that judge. Now I get to go back to her and try again. They couldn't have had any doctor or someone with any kind of medical knowledge look at my file or hear anything I or my lawyer said. She had not right to 'diagnose me' on her own, obviously. 🤬 Definitely something wrong with the system.
I do have other issues I have that are reasons for disability, but my father was approved for his narcolepsy alone. Took 4 years and a great lawyer, but he got it.

It's definitely worth it to get a lawyer and try. You don't pay them unless you win. 💜
