I am starting my 6th week of using Wakix. I have had no side effects and after 4 weeks I found that I am sleeping better and am more alert and awake during the day. My dreams are not as vivid and tiresome as they were before when I wake up.
I still need my naps . My cataplexy episodes are much less. Over all I am happy to use this drug. I hope NORD continues to pay for it since it is around 3,000.00 per month for the RX. that is my copay amount. I filled out an application with NORD,
National Organization of Rare Diseases, and the next day I was approved. They told me that each year I would have to fill out a new application.

Have you tried bronkaid? It's over the counter at Walgreens. You gotta show an ID and sign for it. It's the best thing I found.
