I Am Trying To Establish A Link Between PTSD And Narcolepsy To Upgrade My VA Disability Compensation.
I was in the USAF from 1983- 1996 and I knew something was wrong but I did not know it was narcolepsy. I wasn't diagnosed by sleep testing until 2015. I need to link the narcolepsy to my service connected PTSD so the VA will credit me for service connected narcolepsy. Right now I'm at a stopping point in my career because of the narcolepsy. For instance, I just now dropped my phone while typing this message because I went to sleep while typing this message...YIKES!
That is going to be hard to prove unless you have a record of falling asleep while in service. As far as I know there is no causational link between the two.
Can Someone Please Help Me Understand Why Narcolepsy Takes So Long To Diagnose? What's Wrong With Our Society?
Is Anyone Out There Using Vitamin Supplements To Treat Their Narcolepsy Symptoms? Specifically, B Complex In Therapeutic Doses.
