I am right there with you! For me, it’s literally the worst part of narcolepsy. I cannot get up on time to save my life. It’s embarrassing and gives me tons of guilt, shame, anxiety, and stress. I’ve been habitually late to every job I’ve had and my kids are always late to school because of this. I had to find a morning babysitter to get my kids to school on time because the principal was always calling me and giving my poor kids tardy detentions, despite my doctors note. It doesn’t matter how many hours I sleep or what techniques I use, it’s always a nightmare. If someone doesn’t wake me up, I can sleep until very late in the day.
This is what I'd like to know also! I can not wake up with alarms ever period! I hate it. Hopefully more will comment on this as I to am curious. Hang in there ❤️
Very slowly, by then it's well after noon
