I call people I know because talking helps me stay awake. It's best to have multiple people for this in case others are busy but I've found it very helpful.

I do not suggest doing this but if you have an eating disorder and wear all black people will just call the cops. At best they'll assume you're high, not their problem and walk away.

I generally stay close to my vehicle so I can get in lock the doors if I feel like I might fall asleep, however if you don't have a vehicle, and you're alone, i would absolutely suggest getting a certified narcolepsy service dog, or any dog for that matter to accompany you. Please stay safe!
