Research everything see what options are available to you and your needs. Then see if insurance covers tests and check the health grades on all new or refered Drs. Trust me you want be disappointed. It's better to receive then be misdiagnosed and deceived.

It hit or miss. Are you off stimulants or meds for narcolepsy? Cause I asked and he stopped mine. Cause he said yes it would interfere. So to get a great study I have been on hold for two weeks and study is next week. Research you neurologist cause some are right for you and some aren't your Dr.

right with you . I went exactly that route .I'm up to"looking for the "right" neurologist. Not easy !

Check out a sleep specialist. However you may get “just” a pulmonologist who will give a sleep test and prescribe a CPAP.

Then instead look for a neurologist, especially if you have narcolepsy. I use the Sleep Cycle app, too.
