It's hard to explain exactly what I mean. For instance in one of them: My grandpa (my Poppy 💔) was alive again and before I saw him in the dream, I didn't realize I was dreaming. When I did see him, it clicked in the dream that I was dreaming and I had complete control over it from then on. I had a "thought process" if you will, that I could ask him things or take him somewhere else if I wanted. I have had that happen to me many times. My doctor said they are a form of hallucinations and are called hypnagogic hallucinations upon waking up and hypnopompic hallucinations upon going to sleep. While sleeping you can experience lucid dreaming, they appear to be real and are usually very vivid and nice whereas the hallucinations are often frightening and sometimes you can feel paralyzed. But I found no matter which one I experienced if I concentrated extremely hard I could overcome and move past whatever the situation was.
Finding an excellent physician that specializes in narcolepsy will help you the most! Take care and know you are not alone in your journey!

Yes I have experienced that. However, it was because a friend told me to try a technique of telling myself before I fell asleep that I could do it. It worked!!
